NJ TRANSIT will perform necessary track maintenance on the Newark Light Rail for 2 consecutive weekends, beginning Saturday, November 7 from 2AM until Monday November 9th at 5AM; and again on Saturday November 14th from 2AM until Monday, November 16 at 5AM.During this time, substitute bus service will operate every 20 minutes all weekend between Newark Penn Station (rear of Bus Lane #1 near McDonald’s) and Grove Street stations.Service will be temporarily discontinued on the Broad Street Extension (BSE) including Broad Street, Washington Park, Newark Penn, NJPAC/Center Street, Atlantic Street and Riverfront Stadium stations.Customers are advised to use existing bus service to connect between NPS and your destination.
