River LINE: New Jersey Transit Police Conduct Emergency Response Drill at 36th Street Station - Saturday, September 8, 2018
Station temporarily closed between 6 AM & 12 PM
On Saturday, September 8, River Lineâs 36th Street Station will be temporarily closed between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. due to an emergency response drill.
The New Jersey Transit Police Department, together with federal and local partners, will conduct a training exercise at 36th Street Station to gauge responses to a simulated transportation incident.
Important NOTE: Between the hours of 6 a.m. and 12 p.m., light rail vehicles will pass through the station but will not make the station stop. As a result, customers will not be able to board or exit light rail vehicles at 36th Street Station.
During this time, alternate service is available for customers on NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 419 (Camden-Route 73/Pennsauken Station-Riverside) and No. 452 (Camden-36th Street Station).
